Who can Participate?
|
Scores will be eligible for inclusion in each Contest Club Ontario submission dependent upon the rules laid down by the sponsor. For ARRL events, all of Ontario is the eligible catch basin, per the revised ARRL General Rules for Contesting. For CQ Magazine sponsored contests, all submitting stations must lie within a circle of 275km radius. For the DARC WAE contests, this circle is 250km in radius. Other sponsors tend to use one or other of these definitions. Click on the image to see more details.
These circles are various interpretations of the CQ 275km radius, with different positions of the circle representing the best fit for each different event. A similar situation exists with the WAE contests. The entire map area shown defines the ARRL "Section". |
